About my Work:

This journal is where I show off all my creations, from fake hair pieces to hair accessories and jewellery. While I am not yet selling my handiwork on a regular basis, the occasional piece will make its way onto eBay or will be offered for direct sale here.

Crafting is purely a hobby for me, as I have two 'proper' jobs already, but I am always willing to consider custom work. If you like anything you see, please e-mail me or leave a comment in my journal, and I will see what I can do!

The main areas that I work in are:

Hair falls - I mainly work with yarns, plastic and foam, but I am perfecting synth and roving dread techniques, and will generally experiment with anything I think can be used!

Hair accessories - I make all sorts of hairclips, headbands and beads with Fimo and craft foam, which look great on their own, and uber-cute teamed with a pair of falls!

I also love to write and draw, and it's very possible that some examples of my (usually slashy) Harry Potter fanfiction and fanart will be shown off on this journal as well.

About Me:



As you can probably guess from above, I love art, crafts, fake hair, and Harry Potter. You can probably deduce from the above picture that I'm a somewhat gothy type with a slight Pirate obsession as well!

I'm based in Essex in the UK, where I live with my wonderful boyfriend Jon (who makes a darn fine Jack Sparrow even without the beard!), and hopefully soon to be joined by a kitty as well if I get my way!

My day job is a Commercial Insurance Broker, and I also work behind a bar on Saturdays. If I'm not working, I tend to be the other side of the bar drinking with my friends, going to the occasional club (too far from London to go to any decent clubs, alas!), or sitting at home relaxing.

I can usually be found lurking about fakehairand the Heavenly Hair board, but do tend to be more of a lurker than a frequent poster due to my work commitments. Hence, my journal is not updated as often as I would like, and my friends list is rather minimal to say the least! If you want to friend me, please go ahead, just let me know first by leaving a comment on one of my entries.

I have also been sorted into Ravenclaw, so I must have a brain working somewhere under all this hair.
